162 Friday Nov 12

Friday Nov 12 Day 162

I went down to Edgehill this morning and taped the rooms and the front of the building. I struggled back up the hill will all of my equipment and arrived at Kilmarnock breathing hard and covered in sweat. It is 200 vertical feet up here and I am exhausted. I stepped out the front to look at the Snows and there was Vance George going by on the chukker. If he had been a minute earlier or later I would have missed him. I guided him to the correct road to get back to Woodstock. I shall see him early next week to school. I was so pleased to see him up here on the hillside where he will be for the next couple of weeks. Vance George is the man that inspired me to become a music teacher. He was a major influence on my life and it is a pleasure to see and watch him work with the students at Woodstock.

This evening the “Winterline” sunset was the best of the year. It was even better than the one where I forgot to start the camera. The line was very sharp and the sun was a perfect red ball as it set below the winterline.

All in all the day has been a very good day.

About Me

My photo
I have twin sons with 2 children each. I will miss them when in India. I have been a job gypsy all my life looking for new challenges constantly. I got bored quickly except when teaching. 3 years as a Middle School Music Teacher and 9 years as an Assistant Professor of Music. I played in a Country Western Band when I went back to college at 39 to get a degree in Accounting. I was a CPA that worked in various companies, the longest for 5 years and the shortest for 2 days. I spent most of my accounting life working as a Project Accountant where I would come in to solve a particular problem. I was rarely required to do a lot of the boring stuff for very long. With the passing of my wife and NO job to go to, I can now pursue my dreams in India.
